Welcome to the ResPotNet website
The ResPotNet project aims to support research actors in the convergence and outermost regions of the EU to unlock their research potential through the opportunities offered by the "Research Potential" programme (Specific Programme "Capacities", FP7). The European NCPs Network is an essential "partner" for research organisations in their effort to utilize the knowledge and experience existing in more advanced European regions, to establish the necessary conditions and contacts for their development and to contribute to the overall European research effort. The project is co-funded by the European Commission under FP7.
Research Potential in FP7
Europe needs to exploit its research potential, particularly in the less advanced regions that are remotely situated from the European heart of research and industrial development. Taking advantage of the knowledge and experience existing in other regions of Europe, the "Research Potential" programme upgrades research potential of emerging and existing centres of excellence, by providing support in the form of investment, equipment, staff, networking or advice.
